1. The machine’s handwheel or protective cover will indicate the direction in which it should be operated – it should never be reversed for safety purposes.
2. Adjustments to the belt tension should be made with two adjusting nuts on the electromechanical bottom plate, and remember to lock it after making any changes.
3. In case of a power outage, you can still use the press manually – however, you must remove the V-belt to reduce drag and wear while leaving the big pulley as its flywheel effect is beneficial.
